After a grueling 16 rounds of competition, Clover Middle School eighth grader Mallory Greene was named the 2024 Clover School District (CSD) Spelling Bee Champion.
Greene won the contest by correctly spelling “Deltoidal” as her championship word.
Greene will represent CSD at the South Carolina Regional Spelling Bee on March 16. She will be joined by the other four students who round out the district’s top five competitors:
Jessica Vance, Oakridge Middle School
Manha Shaik, Oakridge Elementary School
Eli Russell, Clover Middle School
Salonee Birabar, Crowders Creek Elementary School
Jennifer Dundr is the district’s English Language Arts Instructional Specialist.
