This site was created to provide a "one-stop shop" for resources related to IDEA and its implementing regulations, released on August 3, 2006. It is a "living" website and will change and grow as resources and information become available.
The IDEA Partnership reflects the collaborative work of more than 50 national organizations, technical assistance providers, and organizations and agencies at state and local levels.
Council for Exceptional Children
CEC is the largest special education organization in the country designed to assist teachers, school administrators, and related service providers to implement services within the guidelines of IDEA; to stay current on special education research and best practices.
Technical Assistance Coordination Center (TACC)
TACC is a network of about 45 centers funded by OSEP (Office of Special Education Programs) designed to provide technical assistance to states, school, educational professionals, and families. Topics include autism, deafness, disproportionate representation, dispute resolution, learning disabilities, parenting children with special needs, positive behavior supports, and transition.
The Iris Center is a teacher friendly site with resources and evidence-based practices.
