Mission Statement: The goal of the English Department is to cultivate literate citizens who read with understanding and appreciation, think critically, research and debate logically, communicate clearly, and write effectively. As an instructional specialist I strive to support and collaborate with teachers, interventionists, coaches, media specialists and other stakeholders to develop rigorous, engaging, and authentic literacy experiences for all learners.
