Adult Education Partners
GED by 2023
GED by 23 is an initiative between the SC State Department of Education's Office of Adult Education and the SC Technical College System. Under this initiative, students who attend an Adult Education Program and earn their High School Credential (GED or High School Diploma) before June 30, 2024 qualify for free tuition, books, and course fees at any SC Technical College.
Upon receiving your high school credential, Tri-District Adult Education's College and Career Navigator will make a GED by 23 referral to York Technical College to begin the enrollment process.

Integrated Education and Training
Tri-District Adult Education, in partnership with York Technical College, offers a Dual-Enrollment Integrated Education and Training Opportunity for students interested in obtaining their Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
To qualify for this Dual Enrollment Opportunity, adult education students must have completed 2 parts of the GED Exam prior to enrolling in the Nursing Assistant training at YTC. Students enrolled in this program attend both adult education classes to continue preparing for the GED Exam and receive instruction on reading, math, and workplace skills that are necessary for success in the Nursing Assistant program.
YTC Scholarships may be available to cover the cost of the Nursing Assistant course.
