March Genre Challenge
Students may read a Sports Book or a Women’s History Month title (suffrage / right to vote, a biography about a famous woman, etc.)

INSTRUCTION

Library Lessons
Students will learn about Credible Resources and Note-Taking. Due to IGPs, some lessons will be taught by Ms. Inman in the ELA classroom.

SPECIAL EVENTS

March Madness!
Each day 2 weeks in March a link will be placed in Canvas for the March Madness Challenge. The link leads to a form that provides the first lines from various books. Each “bracket” contains books from two different genres. Eight genres are being covered:
--Fantasy               
--Sci-Fi
--Scary                 
--Mystery
--Realistic              
--Romance            
--Sports                 
--Adventure
The book title, author, and genre will not be given. Students will vote for the first line they like the best. The specific books and genres will be shared at the end.

The Book Fair Is Coming! Save the Date!

The Spring Book Fair will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026 through Friday, April 24, 2026.
