Media Center Highlights

INSTRUCTION
*We have completed our Library Orientations.
*Students are now being instructed how to login to Follett Destiny. In addition to searching for library books, Follett Destiny allows students to:
--See what books they have checked out.
--Renew their own library books.
--Place a HOLD on a book that is checked out.
*Next, we will review Fiction Arrangement of Books.

READING INCENTIVES
Genre Reading Challenge and our Author Birthday Challenges being this month -- September. To participate:
1. Read a book from the highlighted genre or by an author with a birthday.
2. Complete the Challenge Form on the circulation desk. Place the form in the envelope.
3. You will receive a prize at the end of the month.

Genre Reading Challenge – Students may read a Fiction Adventure or a Nonfiction book about the US Constitution or US Government.

Author Birthday Challenge – Authors celebrating September birthdays:
·      September 8 Jon Scieszka
·      September 13 Roald Dahl
·      September 17 Gail Carson Levine

SPECIAL EVENTS
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. Show Ms. Inman your public library card, and at the end of the month you will receive a prize.
