Weather & Emergency Alerts

There are a variety of ways that the district and schools will notify parents and students if school will be closed due to weather concerns or other emergencies:

• The front page of the website will be updated, which you will see above the "News and Announcements" section.

• All local, Rock Hill and Charlotte, news and radio stations will be notified

• All parents and staff will be notified with a phone call through Alert Now. Please have your phone number up-to-date at your student's school.

There is also a weather hotline set up for the district. To check for weather updates or announcements, please call 803-810-8003.>

Alert Now is also available on the internet. If you missed calls from your student's school or the district office, you can find an archive of all calls made to your phone on the Alert Now online database. In order to retrieve this archive, you must login on the site, using your email address/phone number.
