In November of 2022, the Clover School District passed a bond referendum to build a second high school in the district. In addition to a second high school, Clover School District is also in the midst of building an eighth elementary school, while also making renovations to Bethany Elementary School and Clover High School. With the building of a second high school, the 9th Grade Campus will become the district's third middle school.
The new high school has been named Lake Wylie High School, the new middle school has been named Roosevelt Middle School and the new elementary school has been named Liberty Hill Elementary School. The new schools are projected to be opened in August of 2026.
