Heart & Sole is a program for middle school girls that focuses on five key parts: body, brain, heart, spirit, and how 6th-8th grade program teammates connect with others. The program is part of Girls on the Run.

What does Heart & Sole include? Curriculum and lesson materials, 90-minute sessions with trained coaches, A non-competitive 5K Celebration at the end of each season, an official GOTR T-shirt, and A 5K medal.

Who is Heart & Sole for? Girls in grades 6–8 and girls of all abilities.

How do you join? In August, there will be an announcement about a Heart and Sole informational meeting. From there, you will receive a form with a website to go and register if you are interested. We are able to accept 20-25 girls to be on the team, however if there’s more interest, we will seek out more coaches to assist.
