Promotions Study Material

SSgt Promotion Testing:

  • Possess a C/SrA time-in-grade of at least one month.

  • Possess an AFJROTC grade average of at least 85% in current or most recent class.

  • Score at least 35 out of 50 on most recent cadet evaluation.

  • Have no missed, unexcused uniform wear days and have no more than two major errors per inspection.

  • Complete at least 12 hours of community service since first joining AFJROTC

  • Score at least 20 out of 25 on the C/SSgt Promotion Fitness Exam.

  • Command the 30-Sequence Drill Routine with 3 or fewer errors. Review the 30-Step Drill Pamphlet.

TSgt Promotion Testing:

  • Possess a C/SSgt time-in-grade of at least one month.

  • Possess an AFJROTC grade average of at least 85% in current or most recent class.

  • Score at least 35 out of 50 on most recent cadet evaluation.

  • Have no missed, unexcused uniform wear days and have no more than one major errors per inspection.

  • Complete at least 18 hours of community service since first joining AFJROTC

  • Score at least 24 out of 30 on the C/TSgt Promotion Fitness Exam.

MSgt Promotion Testing:

  • Possess a C/TSgt time-in-grade of at least one month.

  • Possess an AFJROTC grade average of at least 93% in current or most recent class.

  • Score at least 40 out of 50 on most recent cadet evaluation.

  • Have no missed, unexcused uniform wear days and have no more than one major errors per inspection.

  • Complete at least 24 hours of community service since first joining AFJROTC

  • Score at least 28 out of 35 on the C/MSgt Promotion Fitness Exam.

SMSgt Promotion Testing:

  • Possess a C/MSgt time-in-grade of at least one month.

  • Possess an AFJROTC grade average of at least 93% in current or most recent class.

  • Score at least 40 out of 50 on most recent cadet evaluation.

  • Have no missed, unexcused uniform wear days and have no major errors per inspection.

  • Complete at least 30 hours of community service since first joining AFJROTC

  • Score at least 32 out of 40 on the C/SMSgt Promotion Fitness Exam.

  • Have no missed, unexcused uniform wear days and have no major errors per inspection.

  • Complete at least 40 hours of community service since first joining AFJROTC

  • Score at least 36 out of 45 on the C/CMSgt Promotion Fitness Exam.
