The Clover High School Automotive Technology training program, accredited by ASE Education, offers students unparalleled opportunities for hands-on learning and industry certification. With access to manufacturer training from GM, Toyota, and Yamaha, students delve into comprehensive coursework covering essential automotive systems such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems, and engine performance. The program includes Auto 1-4 classes, each building upon the last to provide a thorough understanding of automotive technology and repair techniques. Additionally, students have the unique opportunity to earn dual credits through a partnership with York Tech, with specialized instruction in brakes and air conditioning conveniently taught on the high school campus. This dual credit option not only enhances students' educational experience but also accelerates their readiness for careers in the automotive industry or further education at technical colleges and dealer co-op training programs.
