Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO is an integral part of our school plan and members become involved with the school in many ways.
The PTO fundraisers sponsor many activities for students and teachers throughout the year. The PTO sponsors all four incentive days, 8th grade t-shirts and moving on ceremony, staff appreciation week and many other events.
Money that is raised by the PTO is to be spent on our students in the school year in which it is raised; therefore, other efforts, such as classroom supply support and field trip 'scholarships' for needy students, are also adopted by PTO.
PTO information is available during summer registration days and through the main office at CMS.
Ways parents can help:
*BOX TOPS!!! - send your grocery box-tops for the school to redeem for cash and products.
Partnerships: Please register your buyer discount cards with the following retailers. Your purchases will give credit to our school to redeem for cash and products for use by our students.This is a FREE service and will cost you nothing to participate, but we need you to register your account!
*FOOD LION: go to www.foodlion.com, click on "Lion Shop and Share", click on "Register MVP Cards", and follow the steps top register your MVP card.
* HARRIS TEETER: when checking out, present your VIC card and share our school number #4834 with cashier, OR, go to www.harristeeter.com, click on "Together in Education", click on "Link your VIC card to your school now", and follow the steps to link your card.
* TARGET: go to www.target.com, click on "Take Charge of Education", click on "Find/Designate a School", enter required information (school ID#93268) and follow steps to link your card.
